Hi, I’m Katie!

Originally from the UK, my love for hairdressing began over 20 years ago when I trained with Aveda and started my journey in this ever-evolving industry. As I grew in skill and confidence, I discovered the perfect way to combine my two passions: hair and travel.

That discovery led me on an incredible adventure. From the vibrant city of Sydney, Australia, to styling hair aboard cruise ships across the Caribbean and Mediterranean – every step taught me something new and helped shape the stylist I am today.

Eventually, I was given an amazing opportunity to work in Verbier, Switzerland — and something just clicked. I quickly fell in love with the mountains, the lifestyle, and the wonderful community here. What started as a season turned into something much more, and it’s here that Hair by Katie came to life.

I'm more passionate than ever about what I do. The hair industry is constantly evolving, with exciting new techniques, products, and technologies – and I make it a priority to stay up to date with it all. Whether it’s colouring, cutting, or styling, I bring my years of international experience to every appointment. I’m always learning and always up for creating something that feels just right for you.

My goal is simple: to give you an exceptional experience that’s tailored to your hair needs, using top-quality products and leaving you feeling confident, cared for, and looking your best.
